Why Namibia
Namibia is ONE OF A KIND - leading travel magazines regularly award this African country the title of Top Travel Destination. Watch this video and you’ll understand why.

The Namib Desert with its mighty dunes and Etosha National Park with its abundance of fascinating wildlife are reason enough to visit this wonderful place. If you’re looking for breathtaking (sometimes bizarre) landscapes as well as spectacular starry skies beyond compare, look no further.
Same-sex sexual activity is not subject to criminal prosecution as long as it takes place in a private setting; however, there is no real gay community in Namibia and homosexuality is largely taboo - for this reason, you should be somewhat cautious with regard to public displays of affection. Keep in mind that we’ll be spending most of the time outdoors where the topic of homosexuality doesn’t play a role.

August is an excellent time to visit Namibia, with clear skies, warm sunny days, and cool nights. Wildlife gathers at waterholes during the dry season, making game viewing in Etosha especially rewarding. Moderate temperatures and low humidity also create perfect conditions for exploring deserts, coastlines, and rugged mountains.

"From the moment I saw the towering red dunes of Sossusvlei, I knew Namibia was unlike anywhere else. Each day brought new wonders – spotting elephants in Etosha, feeling the Atlantic breeze in Swakopmund, and exploring the rugged landscapes of Damaraland. The vast skies and unforgettable sunsets made me fall in love with this country over and over again."
your itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to sunny Namibia! After arriving at the international airport in Windhoek (flights not included), you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you’ll finally meet the other guys. Spend the day lounging by the pool or go out and explore Windhoek on your own - the city centre is just a few minutes away. Later in the afternoon, you’ll meet your guide. Over dinner, you’ll go through the exciting details of your thrilling gay adventure ahead!

Day 2
From Windhoek to Sesriem: Today, you’ll explore the capital city of Namibia. On an informative walking tour with your guide, you’ll delve into the German colonial history of the city and visit several monuments. You’ll stroll down Independence Avenue and then continue to the Christ Church, the Equestrian Monument and the Ink Palace. Afterwards, your legendary journey to solitude begins: By bus, you’ll travel through the foothills of the Kalahari and through the rugged landscape of the Tsaris Mountains down to the vast Namib Desert. Your destination for this leg of your gay adventure is near the small settlement of Sesriem on the edge of the Namib-Naukluft Park.
Day 3
Dunes of Sossusvlei: Rise and shine! Shortly after sunrise, you’ll be mesmerised as you watch how the dunes are painted striking hues of apricot, red and orange by the first rays of sunlight. You’ll be captivated by the surreal landscapes of Deadvlei and Sossusvlei, two pans (salt and clay) surrounded by some of the highest dunes on the planet. Be sure to walk up one of these majestic dunes and take in the breathtaking sight below. Before returning to your lodge, you’ll take a short hike through Sesriem Canyon, a natural phenomenon in the heart of the Namib Desert.

DAY 4
Atlantic breeze: After breakfast, you’ll travel to Solitaire, a small settlement seemingly in the middle of nowhere on the edge of the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Via the desolate, rolling hills of the Kuiseb Valley, you’ll continue your gay tour. Travelling along the Trans-Kalahari Highway between the dune belt and the Atlantic Ocean, you’ll reach the coastal city of Swakopmund, where you’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy the ocean breeze at your leisure.
DAY 5
Northward bound: The shimmering sea beckons and invites you on a boat trip. You’ll set sail to see dolphins and seals, accompanied by curious pelicans, in magnificent Walvis Bay. On board, you’ll be treated to a lunchtime snack. Your gay adventure then continues northwards, with a stop at the incredible seal colony at Cape Cross. Don’t forget your camera - there will be plenty of unforgettable photo opportunities!

Day 6
Next stop Twyfelfontein: Get ready to explore a fascinating rocky landscape beyond compare! By foot, you’ll discover the petroglyphs of Twyfelfontein, which were carved into stone by a mysterious people that we know very little about. In the Damara Living Museum, you’ll learn about the life of the Damara - how they lived thousands of years ago, how they made their garments, and how gathered food in the bush.
Day 7
Call of the wild: Finally, the time has come: You’ll make your way to Namibia’s wildlife haven - Etosha National Park. There’s no time to waste, so keep your camera ready! The park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan, is home to four of the Big Five (elephants, lions, leopards, and rhinos) as well as an array of popular game species such as giraffes, blue wildebeest, plains and mountain zebras, hyenas, lions, leopards, and antelopes. You might also encounter some endangered species such as black rhinos, cheetahs, and black-faced impalas.

Day 8
Exploring Etosha - Part II: Another exciting game drive through Etosha National Park awaits you. If you’re up for a different type of adventure, you can book an unforgettable open game drive during your stay for an additional fee. The park has the highest concentration of wildlife in all of Namibia, so you just might encounter wildlife you didn’t see on your last drive past the many waterholes along the Etosha Pan. In the afternoon, you’ll travel back to the lodge, where you can enjoy the rest of the evening dreaming about the gay adventures you’ve had under the starry, starry sky.
Day 9
Auas Safari Lodge: With a heavy heart, you’ll say goodbye to the wildlife paradise of Etosha after breakfast. Via the villages of Tsumeb and Otjiwarongo, you’ll reach the final lodge of your amazing gay holiday - the Auas Safari Lodge. On a final game drive, you’ll have one last opportunity to experience Namibia’s incredible wildlife up close and personal. In the evening, the Windhoek camp will be sizzling with an African dinner complete with kudu and more. Be sure to stay awake as long as you can - that way you can wish on a shooting star to come back to Namibia soon!
