Why Sardinia
Between Sardinia and Corsica, you’ll discover the most beautiful sailing route in the Mediterranean! Emerald-green waters, secluded bays, peaceful islands, and dramatic coastlines - from the catamaran, you’ll enjoy unforgettable views every day and plenty of opportunities for a refreshing swim. In the evenings, you’ll dock in charming small ports, explore the two dream islands with all their contrasts, and savor their diverse cuisines.

Enjoy stunning views from the spacious deck of the catamaran, take a refreshing dive to cool off after working on your tan, explore charming coastal towns and ancient sites on shore, discover hidden coves and secluded bays, and learn the basics of catamaran sailing along the way.

Sardinia is known for its warm hospitality and relaxed island lifestyle. Italy as a whole has become increasingly open and welcoming, and younger generations in particular tend to be very LGBTQ+ friendly. You can expect a positive, easygoing atmosphere both on land and at sea.

Optimal travel time: During our departures, the sailing weather is generally pleasant, with water temperatures of around 20°C and daytime highs on land of around 23°C, with occasional warmer days up to 27°C. We deliberately avoid the high season, so you can experience the islands without the crowds.

Your itinerary
Day 1
Get ready for your sailing adventure: Your skipper is already on board, preparing the catamaran for you.
Between 2 and 4 p.m., you’ll arrive at the marina in Olbia/Portisco and meet the other guys. The first item on the agenda is to go grocery shopping to get everything you and the rest of the crew will need for your gay sailing adventure along the coasts of Sardinia and Corsica. After all, you’ll be cooking and eating together with the other guys aboard the yacht - the kitchen is well equipped so feel free to let your culinary skills shine. You’ll spend the rest of the afternoon making the final arrangements. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed dinner near the harbor - with Sardinian specialties and a glass of wine. A perfect start to an unforgettable sailing week! A sa saludi- here’s to an unforgettable gay sailing holiday!

Day 2
Into the Mediterranean Blue! After a relaxed night in port, your skipper shows you the basics of sailing, ensuring everyone feels confident and ready for the adventure ahead. Once you’re prepared, you raise the sails and set course for the stunning La Maddalena Archipelago. Spend the day exploring turquoise bays, hidden coves, and peaceful anchorages - swim in crystal-clear waters, snorkel among colorful fish, or simply relax on deck while soaking up the Mediterranean sun. In the late afternoon, you anchor in Cala Gavetta, a picturesque harbor on La Maddalena, where you can unwind and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings.
Day 3
Coastal adventure & island rhythms: After breakfast aboard, you set sail from Cala Gavetta, enjoying the turquoise waters and scenic landscapes of northern Sardinia. Your destination is Santa Teresa di Gallura, a natural harbor surrounded by a wild, rugged landscape. Above the harbor, the town of Santa Teresa rises on a small hill. You take a walk up the hill and are rewarded with stunning views over the plazas, street cafés, and charming little shops. In the afternoon, you return to the harbor, relax on deck, and soak in the unique atmosphere. In the evening, enjoy dinner ashore or on the catamaran, sharing stories of the day and preparing for the adventures ahead.

Day 4
Bonjour Corsica – Welcome to Bonifacio! You leave Sardinia behind and sail to Corsica, arriving in the dramatic town of Bonifacio. Perched on towering limestone cliffs, the medieval town offers breathtaking views at every turn. Step ashore to explore narrow alleys, bustling squares, and the blend of French-Corsican charm. Enjoy lunch or an aperitif in a local café and take in the unique atmosphere. In the evening, return to your catamaran or dine at a harbor-side restaurant, savoring Corsican specialties while the sun sets over the harbor.
Day 5
Island Hopping to the Lavezzi Islands: You leave Bonifacio behind and sail into the open sea, heading to the wild and beautiful Lavezzi Islands - a protected archipelago of granite islets and reefs between Corsica and Sardinia. Once you arrive, you’ll anchor near one of the islands and spend the day exploring secluded coves, snorkeling in crystal‑clear waters, or simply relaxing on deck with the Mediterranean breeze in your hair. As evening falls, enjoy the quiet of the archipelago, watch the sunset over the sea, and share stories under the stars - this is Island Hopping at its best.

Day 6
Sailing back toward Sardinia: In the morning, you explore the sailing area just off the natural harbor of Porto Vecchio. Afterwards, you raise the sails and head back toward Sardinia. For the night, you anchor in one of the many scenic bays along the northeast coast. Relax on deck, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and take in the colorful coastal villages and dreamy landscapes that make this part of Sardinia so special.
Day 7
Fun sailing back to Olbia: On your final sailing day of the Sardinia & Corsica sailing week, it’s time to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy a few hours of fun sailing. In the afternoon, you return to the starting point at Olbia/Portisco Marina, arriving between 3 and 6 p.m. For the farewell dinner, your skipper takes you to an insider-recommended Italian harbor restaurant. Over a glass of wine, you reflect on the exciting week and all the memories you’ve made.

Day 8
Time to say goodbye: After breakfast aboard, it’s time to say goodbye. You disembark at Olbia/Portisco Marina, taking a last look at the sparkling Mediterranean and the catamaran that has been your floating home for the past week. Exchange contacts with your fellow travelers, take the memories and photos with you, and carry the spirit of the Sardinia & Corsica Sailing Week with you - until your next adventure at sea!

Please note that depending on the weather conditions, changes may be made to the itinerary. Of course, this is done in discussion with the participants.
Sailing life

Anyone can sail with us, even if you have no sailing experience at all.
A trained, English-speaking skipper will brief you on how to sail a catamaran and will even let you take part in the navigation of the vessel. As a beginner, you’ll begin to enjoy active sailing after just a few short hours – and you might even decide to take the helm from time to time! But don't worry - our gay sailing trips are uncomplicated adventures that are guaranteed to make your gay sailing holiday one you’ll never forget.

Indeed, everyone is literally “on the same boat” and space is limited.
But no one needs to worry about being too cramped. Everyone has their own bunk, and you’ll also find enough space to relax with others or on your own on deck or in the catamaran's cosy lounge. The shared double cabins are allocated during the introduction round. Couples, friends, and guys who have booked a cabin for themselves are allocated a double or single cabin. Keep in mind that this is not a “clothing-optional” gay sailing trip – so please keep your swimsuits on to avoid making your cabin mate or the rest of the crew feel uncomfortable.

Everyone is involved in running the catamaran.
Daily tasks such as cooking or cleaning are done together and are lots of fun as a group activity. Even though for safety reasons the skipper has the final say on board, everyone is involved in running the yacht – within reason – and actively helps plan the trip.
Yacht
You'll set sail on a catamaran, where space and comfort await you. It accommodates up to 8 men in 4 cabins, with 2-4 shower/WC areas. The catamaran features a fully equipped kitchenette with an oven and refrigerator, a reliable hot water supply, and MP3 connections. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided.
The assignment of cabins among participants takes place during the welcome meeting when boarding the catamaran. Participants sharing a cabin with a confirmed travel partner or those who have booked a single cabin will be allocated a cabin for themselves.
Please note: due to organizational reasons, a last-minute change of yacht type may occasionally be necessary.
