Why Croatia

Along Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, you’ll sail through one of the most beautiful island regions of the Adriatic. Turquoise waters, hidden coves, sun-drenched islands, and dramatic limestone coastlines create a stunning backdrop. From the catamaran, you’ll enjoy unforgettable views, anchor in crystal-clear bays, and cool off with refreshing swims.

Life on board is all about space, comfort, and freedom. Relax on the wide deck, swim straight from the boat, discover secluded bays only accessible by sea, and enjoy smooth, stable catamaran sailing. On shore, charming towns, historic sites, and lively island atmospheres await.

Croatia’s islands are known for their relaxed lifestyle and warm hospitality. Especially along the coast, the atmosphere is open-minded and welcoming, creating an easygoing, social vibe both on land and at sea.

Your itinerary

Day 1

Get ready to set sail: It’s almost time to embark on your gay sailing holiday in Croatia! At the Marina in Trogir/Split, you finally meet the other guys between 2 and 4 p.m. The first thing on your gay holiday to-do list is to go grocery shopping for everything that you and the rest of the crew will need for your epic gay sailing adventure. Remember - you and the guys will be making culinary magic together in the yacht’s well-equipped kitchen, so make sure to get all the ingredients you need to prepare your favourite dishes! Once you’ve done the shopping and made a few final arrangements, it’s time to check-in on the yacht at 5 p.m. Now the fun begins - go out and explore the charming city of Trogir, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, you head to a traditional Croatian restaurant in the picturesque Old Town. Have a delicious cocktail and make a toast to your amazing gay sailing trip!

Day 2

Guys ahoy! Time to cast off! The first destination of your gay sailing adventure is the stunning island of Vis off the coast of Dalmatia. Under the guidance of your skipper, you learn just how relaxing a gay sailing trip can be. You’ll be mesmerised as you approach the island and anchor in Stiniva Bay - a jewel in the Adriatic. Dive from the catamaran straight into the crystal-clear water - this is ultimate refreshment! Tonight, you and the other guys spend the night on deck in this gorgeous bay under the endless starry sky. The stunning natural beauty around you will lull you into a magical slumber…

Day 3

From Biševo to Lastovo: Today, you’ll only be sailing a short distance. From afar you can see the hauntingly beautiful Blue Grotto, a cave on the east side of the island of Biševo. After a brief stop, you set sail to Lastovo - a natural paradise in the Adriatic. This popular island is the furthest away from mainland Croatia and although it’s inhabited, its natural beauty remains practically untouched. The mountainous landscape is sure to captivate you. Your gay sailing trip just keeps getting better!

Day 4

From Lastovo to Korčula: From Lastovo, you and the rest of the crew sail to the west side of the island of Korčula to the charming town of Vela Luka. The island, which is lovingly referred to by locals as “Black Corfu”, is sure to enchant you with its scenic beaches, lush pine and oak forests, and idyllic old town with winding alleys. This is the perfect place to experience true Adriatic culture. This in combination with the many activities offered here make this place a definite insider tip for gay adventurers. Why not take a scooter trip across the rugged, beautiful island?

Day 5

Nightlife in Hvar: Your destination for the day is the sunny island of Hvar. You and the other guys drop anchor in the harbour of Palmizana and set off on a short tour of the city. Keep your eye out for restaurants in the harbour - later you can enjoy a delicious meal here before heading out for a fun night on the town! Take the water taxi to one of the hippest beach clubs in Europe, the Carpe Diem Club. There you can dance the night away and soak in the glamour of the island’s partygoers. If you need to cool off a little, just head to the club’s private beach!

Day 6

Next stop: Brač! After a night of delicious food, music, and dancing, you spend glorious hours sailing to the island of Brač. Feel the gentle sea breeze caress your sun-kissed skin as you nap on deck - relax to your heart’s content today. Feel the urge to take a refreshing dip in the cool water? Your skipper is always on the lookout for a quiet bay to explore. After all, what would a gay sailing trip be without swimming stops! After you’ve dropped anchor, you head off on a short excursion on land.

Day 7

Trogir/Split calling: Today, you and the crew sail back to the harbour of Trogir/Split. After you’ve tied up the lines between 3 and 6 p.m., you find a cosy restaurant in a picturesque alley to enjoy the last evening with your crewmates. Make sure to savour the amazing Mediterranean fish dishes while you’re here! You’ve experienced so much on your gay sailing holiday - and you most certainly have great stories to tell your friends and family back home.

Doviđenja – Goodbye! Your  unforgettable gay sailing holiday in Croatia is drawing to a close. Today you’ll be disembarking the yacht no later than 9 a.m., which is why you packed your things yesterday. Turn around and stare out into the horizon once more and recall all the fun you’ve had on your gay sailing adventure in the “Pearl of the Mediterranean”.

Please note that depending on the weather conditions, changes may be made to the itinerary. Of course, this is done in discussion with the participants.

Sailing life

KR_Gaysegeln_Kanaren_M.jpg

Anyone can sail with us, even if you have no sailing experience at all.

A trained, English-speaking skipper will brief you on how to sail a catamaran and will even let you take part in the navigation of the vessel. As a beginner, you’ll begin to enjoy active sailing after just a few short hours – and you might even decide to take the helm from time to time! But don't worry - our gay sailing trips are uncomplicated adventures that are guaranteed to make your gay sailing holiday one you’ll never forget.

Indeed, everyone is literally “on the same boat” and space is limited.
But no one needs to worry about being too cramped. Everyone has their own bunk, and you’ll also find enough space to relax with others or on your own on deck or in the catamaran's cosy lounge. The shared double cabins are allocated during the introduction round. Couples, friends, and guys who have booked a cabin for themselves are allocated a double or single cabin. Keep in mind that this is not a “clothing-optional” gay sailing trip – so please keep your swimsuits on to avoid making your cabin mate or the rest of the crew feel uncomfortable.

Everyone is involved in running the catamaran.

Daily tasks such as cooking or cleaning are done together and are lots of fun as a group activity. Even though for safety reasons the skipper has the final say on board, everyone is involved in running the yacht – within reason – and actively helps plan the trip.

Yacht

You'll set sail on a catamaran, where space and comfort await you. It accommodates up to 8 men in 4 cabins, with 2-4 shower/WC areas. The catamaran features a fully equipped kitchenette with an oven and refrigerator, a reliable hot water supply, and MP3 connections. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided.

The assignment of cabins among participants takes place during the welcome meeting when boarding the catamaran. Participants sharing a cabin with a confirmed travel partner or those who have booked a single cabin will be allocated a cabin for themselves.

Please note: due to organizational reasons, a last-minute change of yacht type may occasionally be necessary.
